Desperation

Captured with a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL and 18mm lens at f/8.0 for 1/200s and 400 ISO.

Went on a parkour shoot with Chase today... And even after so many shots of him in mid air doing crazy things, I'm going to go with him running up to a pole. I am in love with the feeling in this one. He just looks so desperate for that pole.

Technically, this photo was a bitch to adjust. I think i went through like 5 revisions of the sky before I had just the right density distribution, because it just looks SOOOooo fake. There is a lesson to be learned here... Take off the polarizer some times! Whatever, it looks good in the end, and I like to think that I am getting pretty good with the whole colour grading thing. Also of note: This has to be the most uncomfortable I have ever been while taking a photo. I was straddling a concrete wall on my stomach, with my head sideways to see through the viewfinder of my camera which was sitting on the wall. Not fun.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm going to post another photo for today. I'm going to post the result of his grab at this pole.

(Photo shoot is continued here...)
