Tranquililty in Blue

Captured with a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL and 34mm lens at f/8.0 for 1/200s and 400 ISO.

I went biking around with Andrew today. Damn it was HOT!!! I wasn't too happy with anything that I captured today, so I'm going back to my parkour shoot from yesterday.

So here is Chase sizing up where he is going to have to land to miss me (cause I'm lying on the ground right where he wants to land, ya know.) I was saying some stupid stuph to get him to crack a smile, and I got this awesome grin out of him. I went and pulled out all the colour, but it just needed a little bit more depth, so I restored the sky to it's former glory. That's it... So everyone who thinks I over-process everything can think again. Mua ha ha!

Oh! The lighting! Forgot about that one... The light spilling from the left is the sun. The light spilling from the right is my strobe set to output the same light intensity as the sun. His face is filled in with a big piece of good ol' foamcore. I am absolutely in love with the lighting here...
