Road Warrior

Captured with a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL and 55mm lens at f/8.0 for 1/500s and 400 ISO.

So here we go. I have managed two days in a row now to post a photo not taken on that day. This one is actually from the 7th.

So why did I post this one despite the fact that it's 6 days old? Cause it's a good learning experience (and cause I didn't have anything better from today... I was a little too distracted ;) ) But mainly... I'm posting it because I didn't think I would even be able to recover it. But there it is, and it looks pretty swanky.

Okay, so this one has a pretty major modification. I converted two passes from the RAW file: one for the mirror, and one for the window. They were about 2 stops apart. This is also why Dani looks so very grainy here, because I exposed for the window, and she was about 2 stops under exposed. I also made Dani a little warmer, and the outside a little cooler. Separates them out a bit better, methinks.

I also think it's interesting how much clearer the window is in the reflection in Dani's glasses, than it is naturally. It's prolly just in my mind, because that image is so much smaller.
