Domination

So here is another photo from my journey downtown yesterday.

I saw this one while walking up University to King St. Just noticed how well the one facet of that building framed the CN Tower, and my wide angle did the rest. I don't remember if this is the one with the polarizer or not, but I think it is. (I did it with and without it.) I actually think its the one with the polarizer turned 90 degrees to the sky (which coincidentally partially removed the sky reflections from the buildings.) I think that's it... Yeah, I'll stick with that story.

So this one is just a pair of curves calls, and a colour balance. With them I tried to warm up the buildings, cool down the sky, increase contrast between the buildings, and then increase contrast in the sky and other high intensity areas. Does that make sense? I don't know... It's too late at night.

I have an absolutely amazing photo from one of my last treks downtown... But I don't think that would count as a photo of the day. I think I'm going to have to have the main galleries section of my web-site finished very soon so I can show you the nice shots of my past. That enough for tonight I think.
