a Chaotic Union

Captured with a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL and 25mm lens at f/6.3 for 1/25s and 800 ISO.

I should have posted this one a long time ago (I am typing this on the 24th) but I was just never able to pull off the composition in a way that I liked. There was definitely potential in this one, I could just never crop or distort it in such a way that was not, shall we say, a visual insult? I dunno, there are just so many fine little orthagonal details that would always be just at the cropline or something.

I still think the composition is a little off, but I'm working without a mouse at the moment, so it's kinda hard to do extremely precise perspective distortions... Oh well. Maybe I'll have another go when I get home.

edit: I managed to fix the perspective bits that were really pissing me off... I spent so much time getting everything to really be truely straight and vertical, and it didn't help. The bits near the top on the left and right edges seem to carry more mass, even though they are the same width as the bottom. I had to go and thin out the dark bits, so they balanced visually with the bottom. Now I'm happy. Yay!
