Bullet Train

I think this is image number 3 of a train. Oh well... They are interesting. What can I say? This is from the same outing as both of yesterday's images. On my way down from the dump I heard train sounds, and had just enough time to get it passing me. I had a few minutes so get this one, so I slowly got closer and closer to the train until I had my camera about 3 feet away from this thing. It was, exciting, to say the least.

The real challenge on this one was getting the train blurred, while not blowing out the sky (due to slowing shutter speeds.) But I did blow out the sky... Damn. Fixed it okay, I guess. I went and pulled out all the colour (you are using the channel mixed to convert to monochrome, right?) except for a little hint of it on the train. Dunno why... I just like it.
